The Seastar (redesignated T-1 in 1962) was a carrier capable, improved Navy version of the T-33 Shooting Star. This example was retired to AMARG during Apr 70 and is preserved on Celebrity Row with the PCN/Inventory No. AN1T0044.

The Seastar was a developed version of the T-33 for carrier training duties. It has a raised cockpit, with leading and trailing edge flaps, larger dorsal fillet and more powerful J33 engine. This civilianised example is ex Bu.144735.
