This replica was built at the Cradle of Aviation Museum on Long Island in New York. It is not on public view but stored in the museum's Storage Building 9.

This Catalina is under restoration in a building near the museum. Initially on display at Bosbad Hoeven from 1957 until 1982, then at the Militaire Luchtvaart Museum at Kamp Zeist, Soesterberg until 1996. Trucked to Valkenburg for restoration, but wings severely damaged in a storm. Fuselage trucked to Schiphol in Jul 2004 for painting, and back to the museum by 2005. Unfortunately it was not returned to display, but stored in the museum's Annex at Soesterberg AFB. Trucked to Nieuw-Vennep in Aug 2020 for further restoration at the Nederlands Transport Museum, but museum closed and aircraft returned to Soesterberg in Sep 2023 for continued restoration, as seen here.
