"DAF 3260A" prepares to depart Leuchars after taking part in the static display at the annual airshow.

Built as an F-16B and assigned USAF serial 81-0884 but taken on charge Jan-1985 by the Netherlands AF as J-884. By May-2000 converted to F-16BM. In Oct-2017 it was delivered to the Jordanian Air Force as 236. Is the backseater photographing us? Note the tinted pilot's cockpit, and the untinted backseater one (good for photography).

The Norwegian Air Force making a welcome return to Leuchars for the Airshow in the form of this twin stick F-16BM from 331 Skv.

This F-16BM of 331 Skv received special colors as the RNoAF celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2019. Norway was inspired to paint this F-16 in the colors of an aircraft they once used: Spitfire IX, PL258 FN-K, of 331 (Norwegian) Squadron. This Spit has a Norwegian wartime history. FN-K crash landed on 29 Dec 1944 near Tubbergen (Netherlands). Remains of the wreckage were located by a team of the Norwegian Spitfire Foundation. These remains now form the core of a restoration project (temporary registration G-NSFS) that will become PL258/FN-K in Norway. The F-16 also sports D-Day stripings. Built as an F-16B and assigned USAF serial 87-0066 but taken on charge Jun-1989 by the Netherlands AF as J-066, by 1998 converted to F-16BM. On the fin It carries the kangaroo badge of Kantoor Testvliegen where it is used for MLU (=Mid Life Update) testing.

The Danes often come up trumps with specially marked F-16s, and it was a nice surprise to see some colour on this twin-stick arriving for Leuchars Airshow.

Royal Netherlands Air Force Flight Test Center

2 Squadron, based at As Shaheed Muwaffaq al Salti air base, also known as Al Azraq air base deployed three F-16s to Konya for participation in Anatolian Eagle 2019. This dual seat F-16BM was once part of the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) and carried serial J-884.

F-16 from AFB Leeuwarden. The badge on the fin says "Orange Jumper - F-16 Flight Test".

Many Belgian F-16s in special schemes at the Volkel airshow this year. This one is in "Semper Vulture" markings to celebrate 30 years OCU (1987-2017).
