This aircraft was built around 1966 and allocated US serial 65-10595. Delivered new to the Royal Norwegian AF as 10595. Later flew as 595. To the Royal Netherlands AF in March 2003. Noted as ground trainer at Schiphol in February 2005. Also in picture F-5A 10563/MU-B of 338 Skv and Lightning F6 XS934/K of 11 Sqn.

Turning on to the Runway 31 approach at Prestwick, as it makes its way to land at HMS Gannet on the airport's north side. Carries the "AY" tail code of HMS Argyll, frigate F231. Withdrawn from use in 2011 and stripped for spares at RNAS Yeovilton. Now in private hands and being restored.

On approach for Runway 23 at RAF Lossiemouth. Built in 1985. Withdrawn from use in 2016. Reduced to parts at RAF Leeming and subsequently scrapped.

On the nose is a cartoon rugby footballer, wearing a jersey marked "Leinster", apparently being bowled over by the aircraft with the slogan "Up Munster" beneath the cockpit. This refers to rivalry between rugby union teams from different areas of Ireland. In the major European competition, the Heineken Cup, in 2006 Munster beat Leinster in a semi-final and went on to win the trophy. The Leinster player is losing his grip on the ball, which is falling out of a shopping bag from an upmarket Dublin (Leinster) department store.

On approach to Runway 13 at Prestwick, arriving for a fuel stop as ARGUS18. Serving with the US Army 1st MIB as an RC-12K Guardrail in a signals intelligence role at Wiesbaden, Germany.

Carrying a towed target under the port wing. For gunnery practice, the target section is wound out behind on a long cable from the underwing winch unit. Overflying low, just off the centreline of Prestwick's Runway 13, with a view to dropping the target on the grass beside the runway for ground crew recovery, before returning to land.
