Withdrawn from use by Austrian Airlines in 2016 as OE-LVG, this F100 was registered to Alliance in May 2019, using the registration of another of the type which became VH-FGB. This super scheme was applied at Norwich in January 2020 to commemorative Sir Charles Kingsford Smith's attempted record-breaking flight from Australia to England in September 1931 flying an Avro Avian registered VH-UQG (see photo #500287). My wife and I were about to board the aircraft when this shot was taken, enjoying seats 1A & B for a flight to Uluru (Ayers Rock).

Operated by Network Aviation, which was established in 1998 to provide 'FIFO' (fly-in fly-out) services for the Western Australia mining communities. In 2011 Network became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qantas. This F100 is one of more than a dozen in operation and is ex American Airlines and Avianca, taking up its Australian career in January 2012, seen here departing on QF1618 to Paraburdoo.

Another ex AA and Avianca F100, acquired by Network in June 2015, leaving on QF1612 to Geraldton.

On approach to runway 23 at Glasgow on a scheduled service from Amsterdam. Delivered new to Midway Airlines in 1994 as N106ML. Became PK-PFG with Pelita Air Service in 2002. Joined KLM Cityhopper as PH-OFN in 2006 and served until early 2012. Subsequently became UR-CKW with Bukovyna Airlines, transferring in 2013 to Qeshm Airlines as EP-FQJ.

First flight January 21st 1991 as PH-EZI and delviered to Air Europe a PH-CHC June 25th 1991. September 15th 1993 SE-DUD Transwede. March 1998 transferred Braathens Sweden, and February 1999 Braathens Malmö Aviation. March 19th 2000 F-GPNL Regional (opf AF). July 9th 2010 HB-JVI Helvetic Airways. April 26th 2015 wfu and stored at Norwich threee days later. This Fokker was built for American Airlines and flew with the airline as N1423A. Leaving the airline in 2004, it went to Europe for a period before coming to Australia in 2017 with Alliance Airlines. Today it sits at Melbourne Airport as a spare source for the airlines fleet.
