This aircraft was bult as a Kfir C1, modified to C1P and leased to the US Navy as F-21A with serial 999726 (with Fighter Squadron 43 as AD-06 and operated from NAS Oceana from mid-1985 to March 1988) . After the lease contract ended, the Kfir returned to Israel and was placed in storage at Tel Aviv-Ben Gurion from April 2001 to May 2006. It is known as preserved at Rishon-Le-Tsiyon with the Israeli Centre for Sport Aviation since May 2008. Note the two Syrian kills on the nose. It is not known if these are actual kills of 726.

Pictured in the lovely Golden Hour at a remote airfield in New Mexico, Some 25 Turbo Mentors of TAW-4 "G"-coded, based at NAS Corpus Christi (TX), and TAW-5 "E"-coded based at NAS Whiting Field-North (FL), were enjoying a winter class course in New Mexico. This G-702 was retired from the Naval Air Training Command by 30 April 2012. The Turbo Mentor is preserved at Priceville (AL) since April 2017. BuNo 164173 was the very last T-34C delivered to the US Navy. They used some 350 of these trainers.
