The MiG-25RBF is a single-seat dedicated Electronic Intelligence (ELINT) jet fighter with NATO reporting name FOXBAT-D. It is equipped with the Shar-25 ELINT system. It is still is able to carry bombs. The MiG-29s of the 931.OGRAP were withdrawn in July 1992. They went to Shatalovo air base in the Russian Smolensk region. The RBF type was withdrawn from Russian service in December 2013.

The Su-24MR (MR for Modifikatsirovanyy Razvedchik) is designed for reconnaissance and is able to carry the BKR-1 airborne reconnaissance complex (Bortovim Kompleksom Razvedki). Underneath the center fuselage a SRS-14 "TANGAHZ" Electronic Intelligence pod is seen. The recce camera's are built-in just behind the nose wheel doors. Here 26 white is seen heading to runway 21 of Welzow. The 11.ORAP left the base on 15 June 1993. It was retrived to Marinovka, west of Volgograd (the former Stalingrad) in the Russian North Caucasus Military District.

Parked on the military side of Brussel Int'l AP, Melsbroek, in early 1990. The fine looking Tuup was a very striking visitor. It was assigned to the 223rd Flight Unit. It started its life with the with the Soviet Air Force as Tu-134AK CCCP-65680, with manufacterer date 2 Dec 1976. The Tu-134 is equipped with a "Karpaty-S" HF communications suite (characterised by the fat dorsal fairing running all the way to the fin), hence the "AK" designation. It became 680 black on 22 Feb 1989. To Russian Air Force on 9 Apr 1992. Modified to Tu-134A-3 and was stripped of the Karpaty-S fairing. Reserialled to RA-65680, last reported in Nov 2019.

The regiment and its MiG-29s were transferred to Belarusian control when the Soviet-Union broke-up in 1992. In town, this MiG-21S is preserved to commemorate the unit's deployment to Afghanistan.
