French Air Force Mirage 2000N 375 with code 125-CL operated by EC 2/4 "La Fayette", is seen returning from a TLP mission at Albacete. Dassault developed the Mirage 2000N for nuclear strike. Since the Mirage 2000N's standard weapon was the ASMP, which was carried on the centerline pylon, this meant that it could not carry a centerline tank, but a distinctive big 2,000 litre (530 US gallon) underwing drop tank with a bulbous nose was developed and the aircraft is seen here carrying two of these in this picture.

French Air Force Mirage 2000D 652 with code 3-XN operated by EC 3/3 "Ardennes" from Nancy-Ochey, is seen here at the Meeting de l'Air 2017 at Bordeaux-Merignac in colours reminiscent of French operations in the Sahara desert. Dassault developed the Mirage 2000D, which is designed for long-range precision strikes with conventional weapons. This aircraft introduced support for conventional attack missiles such as the Apache and Scalp missiles, as well as the AASM weapons. The first aircraft flew on 19 February 1991, and the French Air Force ordered a total of 86 of these aircraft.
