Still with Oman's national emblem on the forward fuselage, and the flag of Oman on the fin. This aircraft was flown from Heathrow to Brooklands on 6 July 1987, on delivery to the museum, thus returning to the place where it had been built 23 years earlier. The aircraft no longer carries a registration, after it having been painted over in December 1991 at the request of Oman.

This aircraft was on a training flight and stopped at Glasgow for a 20 minute crew changeover before taxiing out and departing from Runway 23 to Luton. Will be used for Oman Royal flights.

Here on one of many visits to London, originally this DC-8 was N803WA of World Airways (from 3.71) and served the Oman Royal Flight from 1981 to 1993, initially prior to conversion still as a Series 63. Became N874SJ with Southern International and stored at Roswell, NM from 2003, being scrapped after 2007
