Years ago, a lot of photos of this airframe could already be found online, including those of its sad end in 1996. However, hardly visible on those were the 'Instone Air Line' titles on the cargo doors. As I have this shot that shows them at least partly I gladly responded to a request to upload it. One of the world's last active Bristol Freighters wearing the titles of both Instone and Atlantic. It had been delivered in March 1955 to the Royal New Zealand Air Force as NZ5912.

Delivered as NZ5907 in 1952 and one of the last aircraft to leave Saigon in 1975 while still with the RNZAF. Wfu two years later and flew to UK in 8.82 for Instone but returned to NZ in 4.84. To Trans Provincial as C-GYQS in 9.87, wfu 1990; to Hawkair 7.94, restored airworthy 1997, stored 2000. Ferried Terrace-Fort St James-Prince George-Wetaskiwin, making last flight of a Biffo on 6.9.04; to Reynolds Alberta Museum but for sale after legal trouble and attempt by Bristol Aeroplane Collection to repatriate

Sold in Canada not too long after this shot but returned to UK in 7.94 as C-FDFC, sadly to be written off in a take-off crash two years later
