NZ1940 in the process of being recovered from where it force-landed near Doyleston. In May 1987 it suffered take-off accident at Whitecliffs. Left unrepaired it was loaned to Aerospace Industries in 1990 to became the prototype of a turbine powered model ( as ZK-FXM). When that project was cancelled it reverted to a standard CT-4B and was returned to the RNZAF. Sold in 1998 it became ZK-FXM and then VH-YCQ in Australia.
