Seen almost 2 months after it rolled out wearing its new colors. Named "Spondylus" which is a type of oyster found in the Pacific coastline.

Icaro's only cargo plane was supposed to be delivered in 2006 but remained in Santiago de Chile for some time with no engines. Back then it wore an experimental livery that said "IcarGo" instead of Icaro. It was finally delivered in 2009 with the standard Icaro livery and flew until 2010 when it was leased to Servientrega in Colombia. It was later returned to Ecuador with registration HC-CNN.

Tropical rain over the city of Cuenca, Ecuador. Strange location for aircraft photography, the local cemetery. This DHC-8, seen here with additional Unicef Niño Esperanza titles, later went to Colombia, to operate for Aires and LAN.

HC-CFD was undergoing a C-Check in Latacunga when Icaro was declared bankrupt and ceased operations. All of Icaro's assets were seized by the government including this plane. It lies at Latacunga's "plane graveyard" waiting to be auctioned.
