After overshooting runway 35 during an aborted takeoff on September 22, 2008, the aircraft was written off. However, Icaro still used it for its flight attendant training and this plane was taken to Salcedo (Cotopaxi province) and was preserved at "Rumipamba de las Rosas Hotel". The idea was to use it as a trainer for evacuations and ditchings, but Icaro went bankrupt in 2011. As of July 2021 it was moved to a private location near Cuenca.

After signing a contract with Barcelona Sporting Club soccer team from Guayaquil, Icaro painted this plane with this livery and was named "Canario 01". It was the official carrier of the team. Originally the radome was white but was later added the soccer ball design. Unfortunately the plane was written off after overshooting the runway in Quito on September 22, 2008.

HC-CFD is seen here wearing white colors and the Icaro logo in the tail. The airplane was undergoing C-Check in Quito but the new livery was not ready yet, so they left it white until the new livery was ready. The airline ceased operations when this plane finally wore the new livery. Aircraft was seized by the government, sold in auction and in late 2019 was bought and moved to a private property in Malacatos, Loja province, Ecuador.

Icaro's only cargo plane was supposed to be delivered in 2006 but remained in Santiago de Chile for some time with no engines. Back then it wore an experimental livery that said "IcarGo" instead of Icaro. It was finally delivered in 2009 with the standard Icaro livery and flew until 2010 when it was leased to Servientrega in Colombia. It was later returned to Ecuador with registration HC-CNN.
