This was the Company demonstrator aircraft with Hawker Siddeley (small company logo on the nose), the former ZA250 which was leased back from the RAF. It was later preserved at Brooklands where I again photographed it some 44 years later.

As can be seen from the jet blast and position of the vestored thrust nozzles, the aircraft is seen in the hover at the 1976 Farnborough Airshow. It was a company demonstrator with Hawker Siddeley (small company logo on the nose) and had previously been ZA250. It is now preserved at Brooklands Aviation Museum

During 1973 or up to October 1974 (when I left). This was my place of work where cameras were prohibited - a rarely photographed aircraft.

Exhibited at the 1959 Farnborough Air Show with dummy loading through the open nose door. Later served Riddle, Capitol, Zantop and Universal Airlines.
