Taxiing on Foxtrot for Rw 05 departure, this was the first 'private charter' flight Adelaide to Ayers Rock. This weekend getaway was promoted by NT Now (Northern Territory tourism) as 'private charters', no airline mentioned although those familiar with aviation in Adelaide knew it was Alliance aircraft that would provide the service. Alliance flew this aircraft into Adelaide where oddly, reportedly, it was to be parked until commencement of service in August 2021. On May 7 it was at the terminal as a background for a TV news story to announce that Qantas will be commencing more services to smaller towns and cities later in the year using 5 such aircraft. Originally it was believed Alliance would fly the services but the news story stated they would be 're-badged in Qantas colours'.
