Morning departure - Qantas flight 1986 to Townsville taxiing for Rw 05 take off. After a time with little or no use by Qantas due to Covid-enforced border closures, Alliance E190s are once again being utilised by Qantas on their 'lesser' routes out of and into Adelaide. Whilst at first used on Alice Springs and Darwin services prior to border closures, at the time of writing, north Queensland and Tasmanian destinations were the domain of the E190s.

Late morning arrival - Alliance Airlines flight Unity9826 from Mildura seconds from landing on Rw 05. As at the date of uploading, contrary to reports that Alliance's E190s would not commence regular services from/to Adelaide for a couple more months, flight information on May 25, 2021 showed Qantas services using these aircraft. According to a TV news story, they are supposed to be 're-badged in Qantas colours'. Several different aircraft in Alliance livery, including one special livery celebrating the RAAF centenary, had been noted in Adelaide.

Used to connect Sydney with Rabaul in Papua New Guinea. Ditched near Kavieng, PNG, on March 15, 1940. Salvaged a week later but the airframe collapsed as it was lifted on to the deck of the salvage schooner.
