After retirement in late 1989, this Corsair was transferred to the 198th TFS with the Puerto Rico Air National Guard. After that, the SLUF was flown to AMARC for storage. It received inventory code AE0184 on 26 May 1998. In July 1992 it was moved to the HVF West Yard Scrapyard.

Maintenance outside. After retirment with the 107th in late 1989, the Corsair was transferred to the Virginea Air National Guard with the 149th TFS. After April 1990, the various databases lost track of this A-7D.

After retirement with the 107th in late 1989, the aircraft remained at homebase Selfridge, initially as Aircraft Battle Damage Repair airframe, but since September 1994 preserved with the Selfridge Military Air Museum,

After retirment with the 107th in late 1989, the Corsair was transferred to the 6512th Test Squadron at Edwards. After that service, it was preserved at Eastover - McEntire ANGS (SC).

After retirement in late 1989, this Corsair was transferred to the 166th TFS within the Ohio Air National Guard. After retirement, the A-7D was flown to AMARC for storage on 25 September 1992. It received inventory code AE0226. In November 1996 it was unfortunately scrapped by National/SW.

After retirment with the 107th in late 1989, the Corsair was transferred to the 6512th Test Squadron at Edwards. It was eventually retired in April 1992 and transferred to the 8th Air Force museum at Barksdale AFB (LA).

The aircraft was retired to AMARC on 21 September 1992 with inventory code AE0212. In late 1996 is moved to the United Scrapyard... that was no good news for this airframe.

The 107th operated many aircraft types since its establishment in 1927. The A-7 replaced the F-100D Super Sabre in 1979. They operated the Corsair up to 1989 after which they replaced it with the F-16. That one was assigned to the squadron up to 2008 and replaced by the A-10 Thunderbolt II.

This 71-0323 crashed on 19 Nov'91. The A-7D was written off under unknown circumstances, the pilot was killed on the scene.
