The Government of Alberta's new Beech King Air 200, C-GFSB, visited Vancouver Airport on January 17, 1976. The aircraft was first registered in Canada on September 17, 1975. After 22 years of government service, Alberta sold the aircraft to Pentastar Transportation of Spruce Grove, Alberta in November 1997. It was resold to Fast Air Ltd. in May 1998 and flew with this Winnipeg-based charter company until September 2004.

Built in 1957 as HSS-1 Seabat Bu143920. Struck off charge in March 1972 as a UH-34J and sold to civil market as N33EA. Converted to S-58T in 1973, to CF-KGO, OB-T-1041 and N439DS before becoming C-GUSD in 1983. Returned to N439DS in 1987 and cancelled from US register in November 2000.

Helicopters Without Borders (HWB) is a Vancouver based non-profit organization that delivers health, wellness, and critical support to remote communities and population struck by disaster across British Columbia. It was established by Danny Sitnam, the founder of Helijet International and associates on January 12, 2021 during Covid-19. This S-76C++ is the second S-76 to carry a HWB colour scheme. It is leased from Eagle Copters in Calgary, AB, which acquired several S-76C++ from the Bristow Group, including this aircraft, in November 2020. This aircraft was previously N80907 and later N871AL.

This 2010 model Sikorsky S-92A, C-GXQI, was seen ground running outside the Heli-One Canada hangar at Vancouver Airport on November 11, 2022. Heli-One is the maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) unit of CHC Helicopters which is based in Dallas, TX. Test flown by Sikorsky as N2133X, it flew with CHC in the UK as G-CHCS, and was exported to the US as N760MR in March 2020. CHC does not fly offshore oil and gas contracts in the US or Canada, its original birthplace. The S-92 was first registered to Heli-One in August 2022 and will probably depart soon for an international CHC contract.

Originally destined for Russian flag carrier, Aeroflot as VP-BYB, This A350 now flies for Turkish Airlines wearing this hybrid livery. By now, I am sure we all know why they never took delivery of this aircraft... Arriving from Istanbul as "Turkish (THY) 75D Heavy".

Not often we get an afternoon Air India departure, so it's nice to catch them from a different angle when I get the chance. Departing back to Delhi as AI186.

Not often we get these SkyWest E175s for American Eagle up here so it was nice to see one again. Operating as AA4874 from Los Angeles. We had the normal A319 the next day so maybe this was a one-off?

After having a little incident with some ground service equipment a week and a half ago, this near new A321 is now grounded here until further notice. If you zoom in you can get a good look at the damaged caused. It keeps getting towed back and forth down to the Air Canada hangar, so I assume they will be the ones repairing it.

This one showed up out of the blue the other day while I was at work (Thanks Vern for the heads up!) so I was happy I could get a shot of it before it departed the following day. They seem to have snuck in by filing to/from CAM9 instead of CYVR. Operated by Aeronaves TSM, this one seems to be in a charter/pax config as opposed to VIP or cargo. Arrived from and departed to Saltillo, Mexico via Tucson.

Despite entering service towards the end of September, this MAX has evaded me until now. Taking over the reg left behind by a 737-400 that Flair used to fly. Arriving as F8289 from Calgary.
