Falsely painted in the markings of the wing commander of the 322nd Fighter Day Group as "54-1753", but the real identity of this aircraft is 54-1752. The real 54-1753 is on display at the Southern Museum of Flight at Birmingham Airport, AL.

Quoted by some sources as an F-101F, and by others as an F-101B. According to the Air Park it is a TF-101B from Ellington AFB, that served with the Air Defense Command for many years as a trainer and interceptor. A TF-101B is an F-101B fitted with dual controls for operational training, whereas the F-101F designation was used for 66 refurbished F-101Bs that were transferred to the CAF in the early 1970s to replace an equal number of CF-101Bs.

Oddly painted with tail number "56748" instead of the correct 60748, leading to its identity sometimes being mistakenly reported as 55-6748 (which does not exist). This Starfighter was delivered on 29 Jun 1957 and served with the Air Force Flight Test Center at Edwards AFB until Oct 1967. It retired from all service in Dec 1972.

The RF-84F is a reconnaissance version of the F-84F, equipped with six internal cameras in the nose and lower front fuselage. Among other modifications, this required a long nose, and splitting the air intake and relocating it to the wing roots. These changes resulted in an aircraft that is significantly different from the standard F-84F (which can also be seen at the Air Park).

This early T-37A (the 6th built) began its service life as a research and test aircraft at Edwards AFB. In 1960, it was converted into a T-37B and last served as a GT-37B ground trainer for maintenance personnel at Sheppard AFB.

This Talon was initially displayed at the Air Park in its original aggressor camo markings as 60-0592, its true identity. But circa 2022 this aircraft was repainted in these false markings as "64-13179".

Delivered on 11 Mar 1945, and retired from service in Sep 1955. In 1962 this Texan was sold to Paul Tallmantz as N7446C, who converted it into a Japanese Mitsubishi A6M Zero replica. As such it starred in several movies, including "Tora, Tora, Tora" in the late 1960s and "Midway" in the mid 1970s. It then went through several other owners, before being donated to the USAF Museum in 1986 and placed on display at the Texas Museum of Military History, which became the Linear Air Park in 1991. It is now displayed in the markings of Avenger Field at Sweetwater (TX).

Arrived at the Texas Museum of Military History on 5 Oct 1985. The museum was reorganised as the Dyess Linear Air Park in Jun 1991.

Ex US Navy aircraft, delivered 21 Feb 1956 as BuNo 140810, and retired from service 30 Sep 1960 with only 1123 hours. It is painted in a standard paint scheme of the T-34s which flew with the Air Force, without a serial. However, this particular aircraft never flew with the Air Force.

Delivered to the USAF in Dec 1953 as an SA-16A. Transferred to the Coast Guard in Feb 1959 as 7251 and redesignated to UF-1G. Converted to the long-winged UF-2G, and redesginated to HU-16E in Sep 1962. Came to the Texas Museum of Military History (now the Dyess Linear Air Park) in 1982.

This C-47 was allocated to the USAAF as 42-108808, but it never served as such. Instead, it was immediately transferred to the US Navy as BuNo 17106. After a civil career with the FAA and the US Department of Agriculture, it was delivered to Dyess AFB in 1986. It was initially displayed there as USAAF 42-108808, but in 2011 it was painted in these false "Jungle Skippers" markings as "43-15460". During WW2 the "Jungle Skippers" name was adopted by the men of the 317th Troop Carrier Group, after it was given to them in a World War II news article.

A very early Caribou in USAF markings. This aircraft was delivered to the US Army in Dec 1959, and transferred to the USAF in Jan 1967. Starting in 1975 the Air Force operated it for the US Army as the support aircraft for the US Army Golden Knights parachute team. In Mar 1980 it was returned to the US Army, and continued to serve for the Golden Knights until 1985. On 2 May 1992 this Caribou was officially dedicated as part of the Dyess Linear Air Park. It was previously incorrectly painted as 58-082, but now only carries some strange "AF58-0" remnants of that on the tail. On the other side it only carries "82" below the TD code.
