On short final Secadal in MXP-150 HC-U0074. This is a great example of how abrupt the Ecuadorean landscape changes, from flat lands to rather "hilly"! Hilly as in Andes mountains! Big thanks to Edwin v/d W for copiloting and shooting! (Shot with some kind of Canon)

Here's the Ballarat aerodrome passenger terminal - which is a bit ironic as there are no passenger services operating to Ballarat, and never have been as long as I've been in aviation!

Unfortunately my only experience of the Turks and Caicos Islands is to fly right over the top of them on the way to SJU from MIA. It can be seen that the runway at Grand Turk almost reaches from one coast to the other.

This is the main runway of the two at Los Andes, and I guess some planes need every meter of the 400 provided. The slope upwards from this threshold definitely helps while landing. (Nikon D610 + Nikkor 18-35mm f/3.5-4.5G ED AF-S)

An overview of Broken Hill airport during the Antique Aeroplane Association of Australia's Auster Rally. The taxiway on which all the aircraft are parked used to be the main runway before the new runway, behind, was built. To the left in this photo are the GA hangars and Aero Club; in the centre is the passenger terminal; and to the right is the Royal Flying Doctor Service base and hangar. This photo looks south-south-east. And, yes, it really is that red!

Returning overhead the field at the end of a 'dawn patrol' during the SAAA's then annual national fly-in and airshow. We used to have a competition to see who could be first airborne in the mornings! We're heading south here and you can see a few wisps of radiation fog lying around. Mike Grasso's Mini-MAX is just above the intersection and you can see the numerous other aircraft on the field. Shot from Martin Hone's Karatoo 28-0912. Happy memories!
