Delivered new to KLM in November '95 and immediately leased to VASP (PP-SPM) until August '98. Left the KLM fleet in September 2012 and ferried to Victroville for storage. Scrapped in 2014.

KLM had their own paint facility in Amsterdam, as a result the last few brand new MD-11 aircraft were delivered bare naked and painted after delivery. Also several cabin modifications were done after arrival in Amsterdam, including a special design crewrest bed, between the cockpit and door 1 left, called the sliding coffin. Engineers blurred for privacy reasons.
