KLM had their own paint facility in Amsterdam, as a result the last few brand new MD-11 aircraft were delivered bare naked and painted after delivery. Also several cabin modifications were done after arrival in Amsterdam, including a special design crewrest bed, between the cockpit and door 1 left, called the sliding coffin. Engineers blurred for privacy reasons. This photo is copyright © Streep, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
