Arriving for static display at the Australian International Airshow. It was exhibited with a dummy EO turret on the nose. This Turbine Islander was built in 1982 and registered in the UK as G-BJYZ, then G-BOBC before going to the USA as N54EW in June 2006. It seems to have been the Britten-Norman demonstrator there before being re-registered VH-YVH on 2 December 2008 and flown to Australia to become the company demonstrator here.

This exceptionally rare beast in Australia is seen arriving for static display at the Australian International Airshow. Produced for the Yugoslav Air Force as 23177, it was retired in 2000 and went to the civil Aero Club Galeb, Belgrade. It seems to have come to Australia since 2008 and appears to be operating from Lilydale, still under its Serbian registration. It carries '40th Anniversary' titles, possibly of the first flight of the type in 1961.

This Tri-Pacer was built in March 1956 and registered new as N4500A. It was completely rebuilt in 1989, but cancelled on 23 March 1990 and exported to Australia where it became VH-NLA on 4 September. It spent some time in the Melbourne area before moving to Alice Springs in 2001. In 2003 it moved back to Kyneton where it currently resides in the hands of my mate Gleeso. Seen here departing the Australian International Airshow where it was on static display.

Just to be confusing, this is the second, identically-marked Bell 407 to be registered VH-ICK! Manufactured in 2006, it was originally registered to Bell as N6002H before coming to Australia and being registered VH-ICK(2) on 30 March 2007. It came and went each day at the Australian International Airshow, spending the day on static display.
