The Vuia 1, displayed at the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace in Paris-Le Bourget, is the original 1906 aircraft designed by Romanian inventor Traian Vuia. On March 18, 1906, Vuia achieved the first powered flight from a flat surface using a wheeled undercarriage, covering a distance of approximately 12 meters. The aircraft was powered by a carbonic acid engine and featured a high-wing monoplane design. Vuia donated the original aircraft to the museum in 1925.

The Fabre Hydravion on display at the Museum is the original 1910 floatplane built by Henri Fabre, which achieved the first powered water take-off on 28 March 1910. It was powered by a 50 hp Gnome rotary engine and fitted with three floats. On 12 April 1911 it crashed and was damaged beyond repair. The Fabre Hydravion on display at the Museum is the original 1910 floatplane built by Henri Fabre, which achieved the first powered water take-off on 28 March 1910. It was powered by a 50 hp Gnome rotary engine and fitted with three floats. On 12 April 1911 it crashed and was damaged beyond repair. The aircraft was acquired by the Museum in early 1920 and subsequently restored to its original configuration.

The Deperdussin Monocoque is a pioneering French racing monoplane first flown in 1912, notable for its streamlined plywood monocoque fuselage and 160 hp Gnome rotary engine. It achieved groundbreaking speeds for its time, winning the Gordon Bennett Aviation Cup in both 1912 and 1913 and becoming the first aircraft to fly over 200 km/h (≈ 124 mph) in level flight. The particular example on display at the museum was built in 1913-1914 (for the 1914 sporting season), but probably never flew.
