This is the original Let-410 prototype and was christened 'Matylda' before its first flight on 16th April 1963, then issued the registration OK-YKE for display at the 1969 Paris Air Show. The plane flew for the last time in November 1974, after which it was stored (actually saved by some mechanics) for some time in the Let factory and then used as a plaything for children in the company nursery. It degraded to the extent it became dangerous and had to be removed. the plane was almost scrapped but saved and put on display as (OK-YKE) and again now after a full restoration (with nose probe).

It is now displayed in Přibor at a memorial that was unveiled during celebrations for the International Day of War Veterans on November 11, 2004. It is dedicated to the citizens of Příbor, who fought in the RAF during WWII and also to the pilots from Příbor who lost their lives at Mošnov serving with the 8th SLP and 1st Transport Regiment.

This L-59 was built at Vodochody and went on to fly with the Czech AF from October 1982 until it was decomissioned around the end of 2002, accumulating 4,009 cycles with a total time of 2,710 hours. It was then stored at Náměšť nad Oslavou and in the depository of the Letecké Muzeum Kbely until transported to LKKU in September 2018 for display in the museum.

The plane was decomissioned at Kbely in September 2020 and ferried the following month to Uherské Hradištĕ - Kunovice (UHE), where it is now on display at the super Letecké Muzeum Kunovice.
