This 1968 Cessna 150H came to Canada in 1974.

Previously operated in Japan as JA6133, this AS350 came to Canada in 2007, operating in Quebec with Helicraft 2000 (2007 - 10) and Héli-Excel (2010 - 14). Pictured with Access Helicopters (May 2014 - June 2015), it was exported to the USA as N160SH. Last flying with Alaska Helicopter Leasing from 2018, the aircraft suffered an engine flame out approaching a mountain helipad at Tuxedni Bay, AK. The helicopter rolled down the mountain after autorotation. Only minor injuries to the pilot, but the machine was a write off.

Post war C-54 45-0535 was retired to AMARC in 1971 after US Air Force service. Declared surplus, the aircraft was bought by Dross Metals and registered N3303F in 1975. It returned to flying in 1976 with Aero Union after fire bomber conversion. Registered to Conifair Aviation as C-GBNV in 1981, it was used mainly for spraying Quebec forests to control damage from Spruce budworms. Buffalo Airways bought the aircraft in 1996 and it remains current (at the time of uploading), but has not flown for some time.

Delivered to Dragonair as B-HWJ in April 2006. Became 9M-XXM with AirAsia X in July 2013, and stayed in white with AirAsia X logo's applied. Used by Air Algerie from June 2014 to Sept 2014,then back to AirAsia X. In Aug 2015 it became HS-XTD with Thai Air Asia with the red livery. Wfu in May 2021and returned to Lease Company AerCap. Now flying as EC-NOF with Wamos Air.

Western Airlines flew passengers with this Electra (N9744C) from February 1961 until the end of 1968 when it was converted to a freighter. Next with Reeve Aleutian Airways September 1970 - September 2002, although the airline ceased flying in 2000. For Atlantic Airways the registration G-LOFH was allocated but never used. Registered N4HG to a trust company, the engines were used by the airline on other Electras. Stored at Coventry, it was made flyable and sold to Buffalo Airways in 2011 to become C-FIJV. Stored at Red Deer still in RAA colors, it has provided parts for their flyable L-188s.

This Buffalo Airways parts aircraft was previously with Transport Canada registered C-FDTH. It became C-FBAE in 2011 (but never flew with this registration).

Originally with Ansett Australia (VH-RMA), this Electra is pictured undergoing repairs. Damaged on March 12, 2012 when the right main landing gear would not extend, the aircraft was ferried to Red Deer and converted to a fire bomber during repairs. The Electra is current with Buffalo Airways at the time of uploading.

Arrived from Moscow Vnukovo and departed back to Vnukovo the next day. In the background is LN-AWD, which was operating NWG402G/403G from/to Odense (Denmark).

Departing on it's last revenue flight to ATL. Ferried to MZJ the next day for storage.

Viking Air flight line - not exactly Boeing Field or Toulouse. The third use of N400GZ for Ground Zero Solutions who sold it on to the UAE military.

An overshoot of a Taiwanese trainer. The serials of the Taiwanese F-5s can be found on the intake, while the code is painted on the tail. Both are connected for life.

During a rare base visit at Taitung, this rolling and very clean F-5E was seen.

the 46th Tactical Fighter squadron acts as the adversary unit within the Taiwanese air force. Some of their aircraft are very colourful (see my other pictures), but some of them are extremely boring grey. But the tail markings will do it ! The fin serial is barely visible.

From outside the field, Taitung has a marvelous spot to photograph aircraft movements. Normally, the Taiwanese government accepts aviation photography, as long there is no base-infrastructure photographed.

A Republic of China Air Force F-5E Tiger II ready for take-off after a Quick Reaction alert bell ringed. The aircraft, equipped with live AIM-9 Sidewinders, was quickly manned in its hardened shelter and taxied to the runway. A final check... and off he goes.

All ready for take-off. Five Taitung F-5 Tiger IIs at the final check platform before entering the runway. Taiwan is a massive F-5 user, currently the RoCAF is still using over 100 F-5s from two Main Operating Bases and five squadrons, Taitung (4 squadrons) and Hualien (one squadron).

In the back-seat of this Republic of China Air Force (RoCAF) F-5F a student aviator is training in navigation and a flights without visual sights.
