Taxiing out to display at Duxford Autumn Airshow 2013. This Warhawk survived the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbour on 7 Dec 1941 as it was in the hangar for repairs after a ground loop. On 24 Jan 1942 it crashed on Oahu, killing the pilot. In 1989 the wreck was fully recovered and underwent restoration. It carries the markings of White 284 of the 6th PS, 18th PG based at Wheeler Field. The carburetor air intake is mounted between two 0.50 cal MGs, changed from intakes in the XP-40 oversized gun fairings. The coolant and oil radiator scoop is smaller and set further aft compared to later models.

Delivered new to Saudia as HZ-APJ 30th June 1998 and withdrawn from use June 2011,then registered to AerSale as N635AS 16th Apr 2013 and arrived KROW (Roswell) 22nd Apr 2013, scrapped

Delivered new to Swissair as MD-81 HB-INO 4th Sep 1981 and registered to TWA as N922TW 24th June 1997 converted to MD-82, then merged into American Dec 2001 and it was retired at KROW (Roswell) 15th Apr 2003 with TT 52614 hours and 41706 cycles. Scrapped June 2020

Delivered new to Malaysia Airlines as 9M-MPB 1st Apr 1993 and flew WMSA (Subang)-PHNL (Honolulu)-KROW (Roswell) 16th-17th Dec 2012 for storage and sale to AerSale as N780AS , registered 21st Dec 2012. Permanently withdrawn from use

Delivered new to Saudia as HZ-AP4 12th Oct 2000 and withdrawn from use Sep 2010. After a long period of storage it was registered N452AS to AerSale 17th June 2013 and flown to KROW (Roswell) where it arrived 22nd JUne 2013. It was scrapped Dec 2016

Delivered new to JAL as JA8071 25th Jan 1990 and sold to AerSale as N344AS 20th Sep 2010. Leased to Air Atlanta/Saudia as TF-AMZ 3rd Oct 2011 and made its last flight into KROW (Roswell) 4th Dec 2012. Returned to AerSale as N344AS 25th March 2013 and scrapped during 2014.

Delivered new to Paramount as G-PATB 29th Apr 1987 and went to BWIA as 9Y-THY 29th Apr 1990. Returned to lessor (GPA) as EI-CKB 27th Apr 1994 and registered N9407R to TWA 29th July 1994, merging into American Airlines Dec 2001. Made its last flight KDFW (Dallas)-KROW (Roswell) 15th July 2013 with TT 71205 hours and 35498 cycles on arrival. Scrapped May 2016

Delivered new 6th May 1986 and made its last flight into retirement KLAX-KROW (Roswell) 17th Jan 2013, scrapped in 2014

Delivered new to Western Airlines 22nd Apr 1986 and merged into Delta Apr 1987. Sold to AerSale 19th Apr 2010 and leased to Sky King Feb 2012, returning to AerSale 27th Aug 2012 and parked up in KROW (Roswell) where it was retired.

Delivered new to China Southwest as B-2837 11th Aug 1994 and merged into Air China Oct 2003. Sold to National Airlines as N168CA 9th Sep 2010 for conversion to Combi aircraft and flown to KDHN (Dothan) 15th Sep 2010 where it was fitted with a large forward cargo door 2 years later. It was flown to KROW (Roswell) 20th Dec 2012 for storage and after nearly 9 years of storage it was registered to International Air Response 24th Feb 2021 but at time of upload it was still stored.
