A dusk arrival into mDCA punctuated by a wingtip strobe flash and a rising moon. Served as US Airways Express from 30 Aug 2005 to 9 Dec 2013, and then American Eagle from 9 Dec 2013 until stoed at RME 25 Apr 2016 - 9 Jun 2017. In Jan 2018 it entered service with Siberia Airlines as VQ-BYS.

Before Viking had produced any new Twin Otter aircraft they made this the proof of concept airframe for the 400 series. It still flies regularly on wheels, floats and even skis as the test/development aircraft for any trial installations.

This rarely seen aircraft was owned in the thirties by the famous aerobatic French pilot Fernand Malinvaud, and carries his name. It is seen here during a special exhibition dedicated to the history of the former Limoges airfield which was near Feytiat village where this aircraft had flown 70 years ago. It is now preserved in Paris Le Bourget air museum but is not currently in public area.
