Operated by 230 Squadron, XW215 was written off on June 24th 1991 on its return trip to its base at RAF Gutersloh West Germany. Its tail rotor failed over the English Channel shortly after departure from Manston and subsequently ditched, all three crew were rescued. The colour scheme is a result of its service in the Gulf War.

Delivered to American Airlines as N5038 in 1966. To Cimaron Industries as N10HM in 1973, Rogers Brothers as N22RB in 1974 then to Oral Roberts Evangelistic. To Omni Aircraft Sales as N90TF then to MF Bin Abdul Aziz as HZ-MFA in 1977, To Sheikh Salem Bin Laden in 1981 and reregistered as HZ-BL1 in 1982. To Kabo Air as 5N-VVV in 1997. Withdrawn from use by 2002 and scrapped.
