First flight March 17th 1969 and delivered new to SAS April 12th 1969 as the 9th of 10 ordered DC-9-21s. In 1984 SE-DBP was repainted to the new SAS Colours, as seen on this photo. October 22nd 1990 OY-KID rr sold and leased back to finance new MD-80 orders. December 1st 2000 WFU and stored at Kastrup after more than 30 years flying for SAS. Aprilc 5th 2001 N338CA Mtec Corporation. September 27th 2001 YV-12C Aeropostal. 2006 WFU and stored at Caracas. Seen ready for the last flight this cold final day of 1985, while DC-9-41 SE DAM behind seems to be left standing.

Leased to SAS as G-ATPL "Arnold Viking" from 4 August 1967 to 1 March 1968 as SAS first DC-9 deliveries were delayed. Flew for EGT until WFU 6 November 1968. Then to Dan-Air 14 October 1969 until 1990, going to Ladeco as CC-CYI on 17 December 1990. WFU November 1994 and stored at Santiago. Broken up for spares in 2000. Dan-Air started to fly to FBU from Newcastle three times a week in May 1985, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and this was an ice cold Friday. DC-9s LN-RLK and OY-KGA seen behind.
