Leased to SAS as G-ATPL "Arnold Viking" from 4 August 1967 to 1 March 1968 as SAS first DC-9 deliveries were delayed. Flew for EGT until WFU 6 November 1968. Then to Dan-Air 14 October 1969 until 1990, going to Ladeco as CC-CYI on 17 December 1990. WFU November 1994 and stored at Santiago. Broken up for spares in 2000. Dan-Air started to fly to FBU from Newcastle three times a week in May 1985, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and this was an ice cold Friday. DC-9s LN-RLK and OY-KGA seen behind.

Seen resting in the northern corner of FBU, a quiet last day of 1985. Note the small bee stripes added to the top of the tail fin in October 1985 (I had to climb as high as possible on icy pallets, to get more than the containers in front).
