Parked at the American Airlines Maintenance & Overhaul facility. By January 1981 the 707 had been retired from active service with American. I was fortunate to have been a flight engineer on the 707 my first two years at American.

Delivered to Transair (Suisse) on July 20, 1979 before going to Aviso Airlines D-Air Liberia with the same registration. To Aero Service on July 25, 1985 as TN-AFA. On June 19, 2010, the aircraft was reported missing on a flight from Yaoundé (NSI/FKYS) to the Congolese gold mine Yangadou. On June 21, the crashed site was found, unfortunately with no survivors.
