Pacific Western Airlines has prepared this former Northwest Airlines 707 they had operated since 1973 for delivery to Abelag Airways of Belgium (OO-ABA). While the airliner returned to Canada on lease to Ontario Worldair (C-GRYO) during that airline's existence from December 1979 to December 1980, it would spend most of its remaining time flying in Africa. Last flight was April 29, 1992 when on a test flight, GAS General Air Services unintentionally landed it with the gear up at Ilorin, Nigeria.

A 707 with a long history which began in 3.64 with Northwest (N356US) and included Pacific Western (CF-PWJ, 3.73), Air Belgium, United African/Jamahiriya AT (in whose basic colours it is seen here - was 5A-DIZ) and ZAS.
