The first of what would become many aircraft placed preserved at the Hurlburt gate was unveiled in 1971. Initially mounted on a plinth, this Invader which had been converted from an A-26C to B-26K in 1965 was later displayed on its own landing gear and underwent various changes to its markings, ending up as shown in my December 2024 photo This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
