The Vampire was the first jet aircraft in the Flygvapnet with deliveries beginning in June 1946. In total, Sweden acquired seventy Vampire F.1s, designated J 28 although this was later changed to J 28A as further Vampire versions arrived. This photo is copyright © Alastair T.
