First flown 29-Aug-1957 and delivered to BOAC Associated Companies 7-Sept-1957. Leased to Middle East Airlines as OD-ACU 9-Sept-1957. Sub-leased to Jersey Airlines July-August 1961. Bought by MEA 1-Aug-1961 and leased to Jordan Airways as JY-ACI 30-Sept-1961. Returned MEA-Air Liban Jan-1964. To Air Rhodesia as VP-WAR 19-Sept-1968. To Aviation Hire & Traders 15-Dec-1975 as ZS-JPU, leased Swazi Air Jan-1976, registered 3D-AAL 1-April-1976. Returned Aviation Hire & Traders 31-Mar-1981 as ZS-JPU, to Air Zimbabwe as VP-WAR 14-Aug-1981. Withdrawn from use at Harare Nov-1983 and broken up by 1986. Captured at Johannesburg in the original Air Rhodesia colours that were changed with the arrival of the Boeing 720s in 1973.
