slide scan from the NK collection. - G-ASHZ displayes the latest colours of British Air Ferries; it was Carvair conversion no. 9 out of a total of 21. The aircraft had flown as a C-54B / DC-4 from 1945 until 1962, and after its very long career as converted aircraft it was stored at Gainesville TX. Seen there as N89FA in good condition in 2021!
