Acquired by Dodson Aviation this old Lear Jet did not end up at the nearby yard at Rantoul but was transferred to be used as an instructional airframe at Craven Community College Institute of Aeronautical Technology in Havelock (NC).

This 1971 Learjet 24 flew all its life in Argentina before being sold for parts to Dodson in 1999. It was stored at Olathe before being shipped to Dodson's nearby yard at Rantoul to be taken apart.

Ca1974: TOS USN and assigned to Attack Squadron 27 (VA-27), NAS Alameda, CA. 5/80: VA-56, NAS Yokosuka, Japan. Ca.1982: VA-25,NAS Lemoore. 2/84: VA-22, NAS Lemoore. 1984: VA-56, NAS Yokosuka. Ca.5/86: VA-22, NAS Lemoore. By 4/88: VA-146, NAS Lemoore. By 10/94: Naval Surface Warfare Center, NAS Millington, TN. Ca.12/94: Naval Air Technical Training Center, NAS Memphis, TN. Ca.1996: New Century Air Center Airport, Olathe, KS. Middle numbers of the BuNo were accidentally swapped during repainting.

Ca.1974: TOS USN as A-7C and assigned to Naval Air Warfare Center, NAS China Lake, CA. 1977: Navy Munitions Command. 1978: Converted to TA-7C. 1988: Attack Squadron 122 (VA-122), NAS Lemoore, CA. After 4/91: Naval Air Warfare Center. When it was retired it was taken under control of the Naval Aviation Museum. By 5/98: Loaned to the Old Olathe Naval Air Museum, Johnson County, KS airport. Upon the closing of the museum the plane was taken by the New Century Air Center and displayed across the street from the Army National Guard base.

1962: TOS USN as A-4C. Assigned to VA-76. 1964: VA-34. 1966-1967: VA-113, USS Enterprise deployed for combat in Vietnam. 1967: VSF-1. 1969: VC-7. 12/69: Converted to A-4L 1970: NARTU, NAS Jacksonville, then VA-203, short stint at the Flight Test School at NAS Patuxent River, MD, back to VA-203. 1971: VMA-142. 1976: VA-204. 4 Jan 1978: SOC. By 10/92: Olathe Naval Air Museum. Unknown date: New Century Air Center Airport. Marked as Marine A-4M 158424.
