This 1975 built Bell 212 was first registered as N27664 with Evergreen Equity INC, then went on to Australia as VH-CRU [2], then back to N27664 before being operated in Indonesia as PK-TSF, PK-BRV and finally as PK-USS with Satria Helicopter (note titles on the cowling in this photo). It was written off after an accident on September 17, 2020, when it crashed into a river bed an altitude of 4'700 meters whilst being leased to / operated by National Utility Helicopters (NUH). Fortunately, all three people on board survived the accident.

Ex RP-C748, registered to Tri M.G. Airlines Jan 2007 and withdrawn from use at WABI (Nabire) some time in 2009. CofA expired 19th Oct 2010 and the aircraft is left derelict with stickers of all the airlines/companies that operated from Nabire at any one time. The reg is not painted on but a fake reg of PKP-PK is visable

Nabire Airport in Western Papua probably hosts - after Balikpapan on Kalimantan - the most civilian helicopters throughout Indonesia. Besides smaller helicopters such as the Bell 206 and Airbus AS-350, a few bigger machines support the local mining activities. PK-HMB was built in 1970 and has first been registered as N2227W before being sold to Indonesia, becoming PK-DBY and later PK-HMB. In November of 2017, it was sold back to Bell Helicopter Canada and became C-FYWV.

Aviastar is a small indonesian airline founded in 2000. It is operational since 2003 and uses a small number of BAe-146 and DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft from different operating bases, one of them Nabire.

Ex PK-BRZ, registered May 2015. In July 2019 the airline suspended Twin Otter operations and flies on with 4 Cessna Caravans. Fate of this aircraft is presently unknown
