Turkey became an F-4 operator in August of 1974, when the 1st of 40 new built F-4E ordered under the "Peace Diamond I" FMS program were delivered to 113 Filo. 73-1031 shown her was part of that initial batch, joining the TuAF in May 1975. It was one of 54 F-4W's selected for the "2020 Terminator" upgrade by IAI and Turkish Aerospace as from 1999. Note the "Filo 112 - Seytanlar - 1952 - 2015" sticker on the air inlet, paying tribute to Squadron 112 (established in 1952) and which operated the F-4E since the mid 1970's until the unit stood down in June 2015.

Between June 2011 and July 2019, Jordanian International Air Cargo operated the only two IL-76MF built beside a prototype, which first flew in 1995. Compared to the standard IL-76, the MF has been stretched by 6.6 meters (two inserts of 3.3 meters each). JIAC was founded in 2004 and is fully owned by the Royal Jordanian AF. The 2nd Jordanian IL-76MF was registered JY-JIC / 360 and both have been sold to the Egypt AF in July of 2019, becoming SU-BTX/1331 & SU-BTY/1332. JY-JID / 361 shown here during Anatolian Eagle 2016 was chartered by the Royal Saudi AF to transport RSAF Tornado ground equipment.

Turkey became a Hercules operator in 1964, receiving five new C-130E's which were later supplemented by three more of the same version. Then in 1991/92, Turkey received six 2nd hand surplus C-130B from the USAF, among them 57-0527 pictured here during exercise Anatolian Eagle 2016. Having been manufactured in 1958, 57-0527 is the oldest C-130 the TuAF ever operated. As from 2010, the TuAF also received six C-130E's from the Royal Saudi AF, bringing the total number of C-130 operated by Turkey to 20. The 19 remaining airframes have recently undergone a life extension program known as ERCIYES.

In November of 1968, this airframe was delivered new to the Royal Saudi AF's 16 Sqn based in Jeddah, carrying serial "1606". In June 2002, it was assigned to the RSAF's 4 Sqn and re-serialled to "479". It was put up for sale - being an older E-Model - around 2007 and consequently bought by the Turkish AF, which assigned serial "68-01606" to it, a mix of the year of manufacture and the first serial it carried while flying for the Royal Saudi AF.
