Named after Aceh's Gold Mountain volcano, Seulawah was Indonesia's mythical first airliner. There are now three C-47s in Indonesia painted as RI-001. This one is claimed to ex 42-92686, DT-991, NI-480, PK-RCI, T-491, PK-DPK and lastly PK-GDZ of Garuda. PK-GDZ crashlanded on 29 December 1961, so it seems likely that parts from another DC-3 were used in the restoration and that this is in fact a composite airframe. The museum maintains that its identity is ex PK-GDZ.

One of three C-47s impersonating Indonesia's first presidential airliner, RI-001. This one, titled Indonesian Airways can be found seen at the Aceh Pavillion in the Taman Mini Indonesia Indah park, Jakarta. The identity of this aircraft has not been confirmed, but it is assumed to be ex TNI-AU T-475.
