There are a number of DC-3s in Indonesia marked as RI-001. This one has been preserved at Museum Satria Mandala since 1975. Its identity has never been confirmed. It has PK-GDZ under the wing but PK-GDZ crashed into a mountain on approach to Surabaya in 1961 killing 14 people. Scramble show it as being c/n 26903/15458 the original RI-001.
