WELCOME HOME FAE-898!!! Historic moment in Ecuadorian aviation!!! Months of waiting, but finally the new member of the FAE arrived at SELT as RCH413, after a long trip from the OGMA workshops in Alverca, Portugal (LPAR), my second homeland. It flew LPAR-LPLA-CYHZ-KILG-KNIP-KNQX-SELT on delivery from March 18th to 21st. And after two incredible low passes it landed carrying two engines to the L-100 (FAE-893) that should have maintenance soon and fly alongside this C-130H. Donated by the US Government, ex USAF 74-1689 and Afghanistan Air Force 1689.

On a detachment to Mildenhall from the 463rd Tactical Airlift Wing stationed at Dyess AFB, TX. To the Afghan National Air Corps in 2014. Escaped to Dushanbe when the Taliban took over in 2021 then to Alverca, Portugal for storage,
