This smartly presented Thunderjet has been present at Eindhoven since the 1950s. When first preserved it carried incorrect identity markings but these have been since corrected. Ex USAF 51-16727

In fact this is F-84G K-167 with K-85 on the fin. Whether the fin is wrongly painted or the fin of K-85 was fitted is not known. By 2019 this aircraft was still preserved at Eindhoven, but with its correct identity on the fin.

A long-time resident at Eindhoven Air Base. This Thunderjet has been here since the mid 1950s, initially for rescue training. At first it was painted as "K-85 / TC-1", and later as "K-85 / TB-1", but when it was discovered that it wasn't the real K-85, the markings were corrected to show its real identity, as seen here.
