This smartly presented Thunderjet has been present at Eindhoven since the 1950s. When first preserved it carried incorrect identity markings but these have been since corrected. Ex USAF 51-16727

A long-time resident at Eindhoven Air Base. This Thunderjet has been here since the mid 1950s, initially for rescue training. At first it was painted as "K-85 / TC-1", and later as "K-85 / TB-1", but when it was discovered that it wasn't the real K-85, the markings were corrected to show its real identity, as seen here.

This Thunderjet had been placed just days prior to this picture. It represents a 315 Sqn F-84G that operated out of Eindhoven years ago.
