ZE254 made its first flight on 12 March 1987 and was delivered to the RAF on 20 March 1987. The F3 served 5 Sqd was involved in a little incident and was rebuilt with F2 parts at St. Athan in late 1994, served 43 Sqd, 56 Sqd, 5 Sqd, 11 Sqd , 25 Sqd the Coningsby ASF, and was eventually stored at Leeming in the fall of 2008 and stripped for spares. The hull was eventually scrapped in May 2009.

This ex 25 Squadron machine had transferred to the charge of 43(F) Squadron, still at RAF Leuchars.
