2020 built Boeing 787-9 that was delivered to United Airlines on the 30th January 2020. She was the first 787-9 delivered to the airline in their revised two-tone blue livery. This is the aircraft that was used earlier this month for UA's inaugural flight from San Francisco, CA to Adelaide, South Australia (which will initially be 3x each week) and it wears a commemorative stamp to illustrate this event.

Morning arrival onto Rw 23 of the inaugural SFO-ADL flight. Noteworthy is the decal on the rear fuselage celebrating the fact. This was the first time a scheduled US airline flight operated on an Adelaide service. The initial services were for 3 months with the option open to continue for full year services and the possibility of increasing to daily depending on the success of the flights.
