Delivered new in 1958 and served until 1962 when it went to Caledonian Airways as G-ARYE (1962-66), then Sudflug as D-ABAR (1966-68) after which it took up the registration 5T-TAR for Biafra airlift work. The Nigeria Air Force destroyed it in an air raid in October 1968. [A nice time-exposure shot, here taken at twilight with the ramp floods giving illumination and the glow of cabin lighting clearly visible. Luckily nothing or nobody moved to mar the photo, as happened with others.]

Not the best of pictures, but atmospheric. ex. OO-SFG (Sabena) 1958-62, G-ARYE 1962-66, to D-ABAR (Sudflug) 1966-68. Then to 5T-TAR and took part in the Biafran airlift relief effort but was DBR when it collided with F-BOEX on the ground at Uli. 10th March 1968. It was later destroyed in an air raid by the Nigerian Air Force on the 31st Oct.1968.
