On display at Musée de l'Air at Le Bourget. This is ex-USAAF 44-8889 that was built as a B-17G at Lockheed Vega, Burbank and assigned to the 8th AF but kept in storage. In 1949 it was assigned to 7499 Air Force Composite Squadron (AFCS) in Germany as an RB-17G for photo-ELINT, which flew peripheral recce missions to detect Soviet radar. The aircraft was sold in 1954 to Institut Géographique National (IGN), modified for aerial mapping and operated out of Creil. It was retired to the museum in 1976.

Delivered to the USAAF as 44-8889 in 1945. Sold as N9642B, reregistered as D-EGBE then OO-SPO then to the IGN - Institut Géographique National as F-BGSO in 1954. Modified for survey work. Donated to the Musée de l'Air at Le Bourget in 1976. Later stored on the Dugny side of the airfield.

Part of Musée de l'air at Le Bourget. This Flying fortress was delivered to USAAF in January 1945 (44-8889) and assigned to 8th Air Force in England. Sold to French IGN for aerial mapping in 1954 and finally WFU in 1974 Given to the museum where it is still stored in a non-public aerea.
