Second prototype. First flew as F-WTMD in 1972. Reregistered as F-BTMD in 1973. To Air Inter in 1985. Withdrawn from use at Paris-Orly in 1991 and scrapped in 1992.

Later re-registered as F-BTMD. Scrapped after withdrawal, date not known.

Paris Air Show 1975 Saturday, prototype 02 became the most interesting Mercure. To satisfy Air Inters requirement for an eleventh plane in 1983 ,8 years after production ended, Dassault lengthened 02 to model 100 standard and it entered service in 1985

This was the second prototype of the Mercure which featured at the 1975 Paris Airshow. Whilst it carries a full Air Inter livery I believe that it was still in the development stages with Avions Marcel Dassault at the time of this photograph.
