A long way from home, Buffalo Airways DC-4 C-GBPA was re-registered with an N-number and was on stand-by oil dispersant duty at Punta Gorda Airport in 2012. Note the spray bars on the wings. The aircraft was stored at Keystone Heights Airport, Florida in 2018.

This former Buffalo Airways DC-4 was always outfitted with tanks and booms, initially for agricultural work, but more recently for aerial dispersant. It was based at Punta Gorda, FL, but stored at Keystone Heights Airport, FL (42J) in 2017.
